ABOUT THE ARTIST

Stephanie Powell has always been interested in design. She studied fashion design at the Whitehouse School and completed several courses in visual arts including sculpture, pottery on the wheel, cartooning, life drawing and welding. 

Stephanie started a business creating one off wedding dresses and formal wear but her passion is wearable art and visual art. She has won multiple awards in these areas and exhibits her work regularly. Stephanie is passionate about the environment and often incorporates recycled materials into her art.
